HISTORY CLASS

"A Loose Confederation" (Chp. 7.1)

Objectives for Today
  • You will be able to define "constitution."
  • You will be able to explain why state governments wrote constitutions.
  • You will be able to list the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation.
  • You will be able to discuss why many americans called for changes in the Articles.

Agenda for Today

  1. You will write down the answers to the four questions we've covered the past two days. You will be given 8 minutes and no books or notes. This is to see how well you know this stuff as we get ready for the test on Friday.
  2. Mr. Duncan will give everyone a worksheet puzzle to complete on the information that will be tested on the test Friday.
  3. The last 10 minutes of class will be devoted to preparing for tomorrow's lesson on the Bill of Rights.

  1. You will begin working on your readers workshop menu items.
  2. Mr. D will work with a group at the table.
