- You will be able to define "constitution."
- You will be able to explain why state governments wrote constitutions.
- You will be able to list the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation.
- You will be able to discuss why many americans called for changes in the Articles.
Agenda for Today
- You will turn in your homework from last night and get ready for class.
- Mr. Duncan will guide the class through a reading of Chp. 7.1. and will answer these four questions.

- Make inferences based on characters' words, actions, and reactions to other characters.

- You will write a short character sketch of one of the following famous characters: "Goldilocks", "The big Bad Wolf", or "Pinnochio."
- Mr. Duncan will lead a shared reading exercise on understanding characters.
