• You will be able to define "constitution."
• You will be able to explain why state governments wrote constitutions.
• You will be able to list the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation.
• You will be able to discuss why many americans called for changes in the Articles.

Agenda for Today

1. You will turn in your homework from last night and get ready for class.
2. Mr. Duncan will guide the class through a reading of Chp. 7.1. and will answer these four questions.

1. You will write a short character sketch of one of the following famous characters: "Goldilocks", "The big Bad Wolf", or "Pinnochio."
   
2. Mr. Duncan will lead a shared reading exercise on understanding characters.
